5. Sharpening the Image

This last step is optional and sometimes it can cause your whites to blow out if you don't do it properly or depending on the image. The biggest issue with sharpening is that it can make teh image a little too harsh and removing some of the natural soft tones and shadows.

For this image however it may work out nicely so let's duplicate our layer and go to Filters > Sharpen > Sharpen. Change the Blending Mode to Luminosity and Fill to 50% like shown below:
