8. Adding Detail

Add more detail to the skin by using a big brush, we used 600 pixels. Use this brush to put a little extra color in the face and arms while keeping in mind your light source.

Select small parts of the hair with the lasso tool and add highlights with a small brush.

Make another layer for skin detail. Use the brush tool at 100 pixels and lets add a little more light color to our skin shadows. Use the lasso tool to select the areas you like to add detail and use a brush to paint as shown below:

Our character now is showing a lot more of detail :

Using the techniques mentioned above, add more detail to the clothing:

Let's add a more interesting background to help our figure stand out more:
