About 10 years ago...

we had a brilliant idea to build the greatest resource for multimedia artists from around the globe. Ultrashock was established in February of 2001 by co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Patrick Miko, and co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Peter Van den Wyngaert. Ultrashock soon became a platform for professional industry leaders to share and discuss the latest up-to-date information encompassing the multimedia industry.

With millions of visitors, and a growing community with 292,256 members, we’re proud to say we’ve educated, acknowledged and inspired many of the worlds greatest multimedia artists and we continue to do so today.

From our solid platform, we discovered there was a specific need for all types of media utilized within multimedia projects. Today, Ultrashock has emerged as the premier destination for professional quality royalty-free creative stock files.
