I have the absolute most recent eclipse running, and do not have anything exotic installed other than MTASC and FDT.

Today my shop machine install of FDT timed out. We put an inquiry into the FDT guys earlier in the week about a package rate etc. No response.

FDT warned me it was running in restricted mode. Fine I figured, I can live a few days until we hear from them.

Or not.

I could no longer save files, or cut and paste anything. I tried removing FLash nature, going through the website, plugin manager and what have you, everything. Rebooting. Nada.

I was forced to either uninstall and reinstall eclipse, use the FLash IDE, install SEPY or SCITEC, or buy a single license immediately. My shop decided to do the latter as I am on a big project with an upload deadline of tomorrow.

FOR SHAME. Great product, but I mean come on.

now you can install and uninstall FDT PlugIn in Eclipse Ganymede over update manager:

in eclipse -> Help -> Software Updates -> Manage Configuration ->
Revert to Previous -> choose a date right before you installed FDT -> Finish
