If you have a basic knowledge of Imageready you could also make quite fancy dropdown menu's and it's not so difficult, when you have made it you just use Insert imageready HTML

All it takes to make those 3d abstract images is a 3d program (3ds, Lightwave, etc.), Photoshop, and a lot of time.

yo colorblind ... at the risk of opening a can of worms...

is there a technique to those images or is just layering in the 3D app. ?

im not into making them, but ive seen them around for years.,..
is it just time nudging objects up and down in Max ?

Well, I like playing with compound objects in 3D Studio MAX, as well as some interesting materials and lightning .. !! .. you usually get the nicest effects by just playing ..

another place to get some cool javascript and stuff is youngpup.

i've used fireworks for drop down menus and had some luck with that.

I have an older Javascript animation / Nav code somewhere if anyone wants it. Probably not as good as youngpup or the others.
