Webcam wipe

Greets to all.

I feel kinda bad posting here asking for help while I still haven't updated the PS Battle like I said I would.. But I need some help.
I've been trying to get my head around AS3 for a few weeks, but it seems like a mountain to be conquered once I have some free time. I haven't been in Flash for a while - long story - and it's freaky not to be able to do the things I want to.

Anyway. I have a task, a challenge, an experiment or somesuch that I would like to get done soonish cause it'll become the backbone of a bigger project. It utilises a camera and motion-detection which I have already implemented in Flash, but I now need to build a function that recognises 'wipes' and swings and so forth. User input without clicks basically. Reminiscent of Minority Report.

It sounds really complicated, and I wont go into too much more detail right now. I'd just really appreciate a response from some of the AS3 gurus and a notion of a 'yes, I'd like to help' or a 'no you! sod off elsewhere'.

Thanks in advance

Wolf

tl;dr
I need someone to help me build a navigation system in Flash using a webcam and motion detection.
