The image slider is a small project I made for a friend of mine. It works in a similar fashion to the iTunes cover flow except that it does not do a trapezoidal distortion on the images.

Looks good but you should think about optimising it. The first example took my CPU usage up to about 70% (that's twice as much as a game I'm working on uses), the second example hung around at about 5% which is fine.

So yeah, nice work, it just needs optimising.

yeah, the first example is so high because of the reflection script i presume which wasn't something i coded (credits given in the blog post). I also noticed it was rather high in CPU performance but it runs smoothly at least :P

If you don't mind me asking, what are your specs/os?
