ASP - Need help with Shared Hosting
Old 2008-11-06

I'm trying to find a new host for our web site. I'm leaning towards a Windows machine that would be shared to keep the cost down. The reason for Windows instead of Linux would be sometimes clients request programming be done using ASP and sometimes PHP. So I'm looking for one server where I can post sites for clients to review before they get pushed live.

It's a nightmare to try and read all the reviews out there and sift through the different hosting sites. What I was hoping to find out is what do fellow programmers do as far as hosting goes? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

Discussions about hosting companies aren't really allowed at Ultrashock unfortunately, no thanks to a "precision" hosting deal that seems to have been done. Seems a bit wrong considering the industry most of us are in but there you have it.

Understood. Thank you for the quick response on that Nutrox. I didn't even think about something like that.
