[PS] Why can't I colour this layer?
Old 2007-09-17

In Photoshop, I wrote some text, and then I applied a radial blur filter on it with zoom to create rays. I am now trying to colour it now using CTRL + U and when I check colourize, and ajust the hue, nothing happens. I checked the colour was in RGB, and it was... but I still can't colourize it. Why is this?

I included the PSD here.

Because your blurred font is white, there is no way to change the color or saturation. There is no hue change of the color white. Try changing the lightness to a darker shade then mess with the hue or saturation levels. Otherwise all you're going to get is white.
