If you own Studio 8 the upgrade price is awesome. Much, much more than I hoped for, for a quite a bit less than I dreamed of. Thanks Adobe.

Upgrading...
Well, US$ 199 is a very nice price for an upgrade... but I did not see the upgrade chart there - where have you guys seen it? And when I try to preorder the site takes me to Flash 8.

The interface hasn't changed at all (thank goodness)
I haven't play much with it yet but the AS3 has some bad ass classes and goodies.

I cannot wait to get Flash CS3! Absolutely amazing!

I don't understand why people don't like the new icons. The whole periodic table; elements, is a great theme for a suite like this. They are simple but show the theme well. I like 'em.

One thing is, and don't laugh, but I wish you could customize your package. I want the Web Premium but I also need InDesign and After Effects. It would be nice if you could pick out your package and receive a discount on the additional software pieces.

I don't think that would be so bad logistically speaking. :-/

Wow, it's REALLY big this time around-as in file size. I'm seeing 403 megabytes on my download right now, and that's excluding the "extras."

I haven't tried importing a whole PS file onto flash. That is a winner right there!

Yeah, I like the way the toolbars can be quasi-minimized for starters. The free fonts are cool and the video options are great!

Good job Adobe/Macromedia.

Well, I bought mine with an upgrade price, but it was a trial version and then I had to activate it just like Flash MX 2004.

I like the changes though-a lot.

I placed the order sometime ago, and then after reading NRG's message, I logged into the website and checked my purchases, and the download was available.

I've got a question... When I was messing with the Public Beta release everything in AS3 had to be done as classes. Is this still true with the final version? or is timeline-based coding just as easy as it was in flash 8?

thanks.

I just started reading the documentation-everything is class based now. Some of the new features, such as dynamically adjusting the frame rate is just awesome.

400 MB's that is much. I hope it's for some good reason. This is first adobe flash. Also dreamweaver is big?! MX 2004 for PC was about 100 MB and dream 8 was only at about 60 MB and now 280 MB? Hope it's some good stuff...

It took forever to install and then:

Problem with Trial
A problem was encountered while trying to load the trial period for Flash CS3 Professional.
Click Qit to see if restarting your computer or reinstalling the software fixes the problem. Otherwise, click Continue to display a screen where you can enter a valid serial number to begin using the product without trial.

I restarted and reinstalled and it is still displaying this error when I try to enter the trial.

Any help?

The full studio Costs $4,000 here in Melbourne,

I would just buy the web package, but i need other stuff like After Effects too,

Pity they dont see after effects as a web premium kinda program...

The interfaces all look brilliant and im glad to see that adobe havent slacked off with the quality of the software now they have no competition!

Hooray for CS3.....Booo for the CS3 Logos though... what on earth were they thinking..
