Flash Developer
We are looking for an experienced Flash Developer (programmer, not a designer) to design innovative Flash components that will enhance Mochi Media’s existing product suite. The ideal candidate has developed Flash applications in Actionscript 3 and Actionscript 2 and is able to experiment with new Flash technologies. Strongly desired are those who have experience building Flash games and are knowledgeable about the industry.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Design new Flash services, such as leaderboards, for our game developers
• Contribute to the Mochi Media Flash community by teaching and sharing your skills on our forums
• Interface with other engineering staff to develop appropriate APIs and protocols
• Collaborate with designers, marketing and sales teams at Mochi Media

Skills & Qualifications:
• Portfolio review required
• Software engineering experience: the ability to develop and integrate scalable, maintainable systems & processes
• Proven experience with Flash applications which communicate heavily with backend server technologies
• Experience with AS3 & AS2, XHTML/CSS
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to work independently or as a team contributor
• The ability to create and develop new product ideas
• Prototyping and professional development of products
