[Illustrator styles problem]
Old 2003-04-28

Hi, I have five lines with a different color here, now what I want to do is to make those lines into a style so I can assign it to objects with varying forms. Now when I drag it onto the styles palette I get a blank space in it, and it won't assign the proper style. Why not? What am I missing?

thanks in advance,
Geert

You shouldn't drag the object itself, but the icon you get in the "aspect" panel. Anyway, I guess that you don't need a style, wich is more to record effects, but a pattern to fill your shapes instead.
