linking dynamically loaded text
Old 2008-10-30

My dynamically loaded text will not open html formatted links in a new window. I have the target="blank", but it still opens the new page in the top window. Any ideas why?

I could set it to open a pop up, but I didn't want the browsers to shut it down.

here is how I have the links written within a .txt file. The loaded text is set to render as html.
<a href="http://calibre.mworld.com/m/m.w?sp=Search%26lp=mpp%26p=DCNS%26key=Fight+for+Clean+Drinking+Water+Gets+Serious" target='blank'><b><u>Calibre</u></b></a>

Anyone else have this problem?

Fixed it! The code was right, but the file was being read from an older version that didn't not have target="_blank"
