I have the same q-n that someone already asked. PixelRanger, how was the photography done? That is something that definately struck me when I saw it for the first time (from a link on the 2A site). Great job, of course. The vision of 2A to combine Internet technology with full motion video has never been closer. This is like interactive TV. Wicked cool! |

My guess as to how the guy was done: filmed on Green screen, then separated with Ultimatte AE plugins, then more effects were applied for the fading in and out (could have also used alpha channel masking). After that, it was exported from After Effects, then compressed with sorenson squeeze, imported into flashMX as a FLV, and then integrated from there. I have to say, excellent job. Very neatly done. I can tell lots of sleep was missed over this project. Way to keep raising the bar PixelRanger, using technology us low budget designers can't get our hands on! |
