Nothing innovative about it
Pretty boring if you ask me. What really is the criteria for being a BOMBSHOCK recipient?

It's slick.
So what.
3D elements zoom around the screen.
So what.

How is this site different from all the other sites out there that look and move like this one?

well done and congrats to CISCOHOLLYWOOD but I think boomshock is becoming irrevelant as it mises sites like VODAPHONICS.

there to tied up in this one a week business and vodaphonics gets left out cause of timming.

good on this one though

i just don't know about this one....it's nice for sure, and very clean, but with some of the others there I think it was close, but still a very nice site and worthy

I'm curious to know what kind of stuff they have under the hood though, cause it seems sites usually only win for looks makes me depressed, but i'm sure this one had something outstanding or it wouldn't have won.

Eventually people are going to have to stop complaining about non-original site and just start confessing if something is really well put together. Almost everything been taken. I mean come on, designers have to make a living.

Please forgive my ignorance but what exactly is the critriea for a bombshock award. I have asked this question countless times. I have looked around on the forums and I have found no documentation on what counts as a bombshock award.

If anyone could kindly point me towards this info I will be most greatfull.

kind regards

I don't think there is such thing as criteria, is whatever the owners (miko, nrq) think is cool.

I would love to also know from the Ultrashock staff why vodafone did not get a bombshock award. Don't look at my request as a slam, but a re-consideration and also an oppertunity for us trying to make it to that special award another time to learn from those that have that special gift.

Has it been said or written that those sites can't or won't get the award?

The bombshock gets awarded once a week, not everytime a nice site comes out.

Not sure what your post is supposed to mean, as I am not even affiliated with the development of that site, but YES would be the answer?

Err...

This nice site JUST came out. Don't get me wrong is not like im against it getting a BS, in fact it was me who posted it first.

So BS are in fact awarded when nice sites come out.

Or maybe there is some queue we don't know about.

Ran slow on my mac, a couple of slick transitions, not particularly innovative, and over-all it's design is ..well... a little ugly. First bombshock that I've really disagreed with.

no doubt, the site is hot. and seriously no doubt, vodafone deserves one, too. here's hoping next week, i guess.

nice site.. nowhere close to vodafone but as it was already said.. its up to Miko and NRG to decide that

Miko even made a sticky post once to explain the criteria for the award.. from what I remember.. it went like this:

We try to acknowledge all areas of web design.. whether its backend, 3d, music etc. and if we feel its good enough for a BS we will award it

simple and straightforward.. yet.. NOT

simple and interesting. But actually pretty choppy on my machine.

However, not as inovative as other bombshocks I've seen.
