AS2 - Embed Font for dynamic Text
Old 2008-07-04 Last edited by uxk8396 : 2008-08-01 at 07:45.

HI,
My swf displays the word "national" when it loads. When I rollOver onto the green circle, the word "Design" should be displayed. However, at the same time I need a specific font to be used (El Nino). Can you please show me an effective way to do that. I am not sure how to embed that particular font.

Thank you

Click on the textField and in properties tab you will see a button named embed. Just click on that and embed the font.

Thanks. I did click on embed earlier but now I understand that we have to click embed, write down the word, say ok. Then go back to the file again and select the dyna textfield, and click on embed again.
I missed the second set of procedure.

If you are planning to use the font for a description or something that needs more characters embed the Uppercase lowercase Numerals and Puctuation. You can select them by holding the CTRL key on windows and pressing on each option.
I hope this helps.
