well.. so I really don't understand
As I posted before, this is the header we were receiving
Response:HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Cache-Control:no-cache
Connection:close
Date:Wed, 12 Nov 2008 12:20:33 GMT
Conten-Type:text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1
Server:Miscrosoft-IIS/6.0
X-Powered-By:ASP.NET
X-Vignette-RespondedWith:AJAX
Content-Encoding:gzip
Vary:Accept-Encoding
Transfer-Encoding:chunked

and that was failing on IE6 not in Firefox.. it has the Content-Encoding set.
