I've been wondering how you guys feels about the Open Source programs?

Is it alright to make money out of it in terms of your projects or products which made out of (or produced from) the Open Sources? This is as far as I'm most concrned of. I've done a bit of researches online recently, that actually quite a lot of people were suggesting it's okay in doing so.

The reason why I bought up on this, is because the Web design company that I'm currently working with is using nearly all of their programs directly from the Open Sources. And no, they don't have Dreamweaver or any other proper paid Web design softwares.

Personally, I'm perferred to buy the proper softwares for my own design works, and honestly I'm not a big fan or a small fan when comes to Open Source programs. Which this situation really bugs me alot.

Also, my last question is, will this practice affect me (or anyone) negatively as a designer (or whatever) later on? Both in professional term or legal issues?
