Very new to Flash and only interesting on the video converting side

Hi Everyone, I am new to Flash. I edit with Avid and export my video as QT (self contained) mainly to later upload it to the web. The idea is that the video quality ramains very high and also is very accessible and easy to view by people. Ideally I want no more than 5 or 10 MB for movie (10 to 15 minutes long) Flash seems to be the solution.....where should I go to see a demo for people who has no idea (me) in how to use Flash? Will be using Adobe Master Collection CS3 and I once did exported a QT and imported to A Flash CS3 video Encoder (it was a big 25GB QT mov exported from Avid) but then did not know what to do with this FLV file....anyway, extremely new and ignorant on these matters. Where is best to start (besides expensive classes) using Flash from Master collection? I have a subscription on Lyndas.com but don't know which class is the right to learn converting QT movs to flash for easy access / viewing in the net. I see Flash video but when I open the class is not really talking about converting QT to Flash and in how to incorporate that Flash movie into a webpage. Any help, helps. Thank you!
Well, if the converting is your problem, I think flash cs3 will do it for you. just import the .mov file from File->Import->Import Video... and then adjust the deploying, encoding and player options, the rest is easy it will do the conversion and import a player into the scene. all you have to do is pressing Ctrl+Enter.
