Join me for a different perspective on Flash/Actionscript programming: a perspective saturated with hyperbole and couched in precocious vernacular.
With diligent perseverance and a little luck, this blog could become the center of a radical new view of the web.
'Course I'd settle for entertaining and/or insightful.
It's January 1, 2008 and I find myself at the keyboard with renewed conviction and an overwhelming belief that this is going to be the best year of my life. Of course, there's nothing like a heaping mound of expectations to keep you weighed down, but you gotta start somewhere.
So here it goes: my first blog entry.
As is the custom on New Years Day, I have put together a small list of goals which I plan to accomplish in the upcoming year.
Create a web-enabled application for legal professionals that tracks case status and orchestrates attorney/client communication, inner-office communication, and state/federal electronic document filing.
Write/submit grant requests for the ACME project to fulfill the needs not being met by AHRC.
Compose/submit a GREEN proposal for the Bruce Harvey Law Firm to enable passive solar/green roof technologies.
Develop a means of generating cost-effective, high quality lenticular prints while setting up a business model that allows special event lenticular fabrication and sales.
Other goals
Become the foremost authority on all things electronic, including but not limited to Flash, Java, C, etc.
Establish a creative coop where people with creative ideas and few resources can come together to learn new skills, to create new forms of art and to plot a path for independence and freedom from corporate America.
Build a replacement for the light that I lost when I first came to Atlanta.
Sponsor world peace.
Cure AIDS, cancer, depression.
Grow a tail and/or wings.
Rescue my friend Punky and liberate her to be the shining star that she deserves to be.
Well, it's a start! Thanks for taking the time to bare witness to my pending insanity. I hope that you will find comfort in reading my blog either by knowing that someone out there thinks like you do, or by being grateful that you don't think like I do. Either way, I wish you the best for 2008 and thank you for check out My Whirled Views.
I didn't mean for my first comment to come off so sarcastic. I checked out the paigeharvey.com and it is quite nice. Best wishes on the rest of your 2008 accomplishments.
