Fuzzy Effects [AS2]

This download contains three scripted "fuzzy" effects that can be used to reveal or hide artwork. Works great with both static vector and bitmap content.

To use an effect in your work requires an import statement plus a single line of ActionScript to trigger the effect for a particular clip. You can optionally specify a duration, fuzzy edge width and effect rotation, then the supplied classes take care of the rest.

The base class AlphaEffect_AS2 can be extended to create your own effects. The effect classes supplied demonstrate using dynamically drawn radial gradients, rotated linear gradients and alpha bitmaps as the basis of the effect.
